Eh the wait is getting better, but like you said even the OPs still have a wait (even if its only a month or so).But they can, and they do. Despite what the internet hype machine would want us all to believe. Might need a short wait but OPs, Explorers, Subs - all should be achievable for a good number of new buyers (not picking on you here, I just see this repeated so much and felt it worth offering a counterpoint).
It will be interesting to see where Omega goes. I think they could fall into a bit of a tough spot as a brand - essentially being squeezed a bit - and they are clearly using technical innovation as a value-add to justify moving further up the pricing ladder. At the same time those technical innovations are being rolled out, they seem to be leaving behind the enthusiast market that would actually value them most. It will be fascinating because they know what they are doing, I just can't quite make sense of it at this point, from the outside looking it.
Bring back the 39 mm version as not a limited and I'll be a happy clam+1.
Whatever they might do, I will believe it when I see it.
I’m not sure how motivated I would be. My SMP 300 8800 movement is +1SPD and I really can’t picture parting ways with it. If Omega could trim this watch down to 12-12.5MM range on thickness that could be tempting…but still not a definite yes.If we wish it, maybe it will be so?
I am betting Omega rereleases the Seamaster 300 this year with the Spirate system. This is the quintessential Seamaster, with much better lume than the current offerings, along with their current bracelet that is better than Rolex. This may finally put the Seamaster ahead of the Submariner, especially if they price it around $5k. Oh, and let’s keep it slim, 13 mm or less, 40mm max, no HE valve.
Omega, DM me, I want the first off the assembly line please.

Close enough.
If your looking for coaxial and ceramic bezel then no.Doesn't the 2254.50 already scratch this itch?
