Hi all.

Thanks to the help of some of the people on this forum ( thanks a LOT ), my seamaster 2250 arrived in Queensland, Australia, all the way from Washington. Got here in 6 days.

Thanks for the tip of where to buy it guys, its exactly what I wanted.

Craig

Oh, , and if anyone from over there ever comes to Australia and heads north, , drop me a line and we will go fishing !

beautiful watch, congrats.

i'm curious - did you use the forum favourite AD?

and if so, did australian customs charge you any additional duty when it entered the country?

also...what was your method of postage from the USA?

Yeah, , Aust Customs and USPS charged a total of about $200 extra $aus.

Still worth it.

And I did use the recommended AD, thanks to this forum.

Mmmm... that has the best ever sword hands. Great looking watch.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with USPS. I've seen them cop some flak on forums, mainly because their tracking ain't so hot, but my experiences have all been positive -- very fast and very cheap.

Congratulations and wear your SMP in good health! By the way, why did it take so long! 6 days is kinda slow. I would have thought UPS or FedEx could have got it there in 2 days..:-d

Cheers,
David
