Hi, I currently have a Searle and Co clock but know nothing about it. Could someone please shed some light for me?

Thanks

The company is still around and is actually only a block away from the 79 Lombard Street address. It started in 1895 so the clock is more recent than that... a movement pic might help some and might disclose some patent numbers to further help in dating.

Nice looking timepiece. Does it work?

I wound it today and it works like a charm. I've opened the back and here's what I can see.

Thank you. I really like it but just don't know anything about it.
