On my most recent swing through Tokyo I came across probably the thinnest watch I have ever held.
It looks old school but I don't think it's older than 80s because it's got a display caseback, it's handwind mechanical, and has stripes. plus it keeps better time than my other vintage seikos.
33mm diameter and 5.7mm thick even with a display case back. My thinnest watch before this was a Reverso thin tribute that was 5.9mm.
5.7mm seiko, not even a grand seiko. I wonder how much it would've sold for when new, but it cost me just under 100,000 yen.
