Hello,

So I decided to change the battery in my mothers Seiko Velatura, in order to do this I thought I would remove a pin from the bracelet so it would be easier to take of the back so I did this and changed the battery, so far so good. However, when I went to put the pin back in it just goes right through. It appears to be a friction pin, never removed previously, and I have tried multiple directions. I removed another pin and swapped and that was OK so it's not the pin itself. There was no collar or screw or anything.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution?
All help is greatly appreciated.

OK so I solved it there was a collar, it must have fallen out when I removed the pin. I removed the second pin again and on prodding inside the link the collar fell out, so I prodded inside the original problem link and there was no collar hence it must have fallen out, on putting the second pin back in it fell on the floor and lo and behold it fell right next to the lost collar. All fixed.
