Hi guy's!

A little rundown and brief description of a "forgotten" SEIKO line that contributed greatly to how collectible the SEIKO Alpinist has now become.

seiko-champion-calendar_1573158648321.jpg

After first appearing as Laurel Alpinist for only one year in 1961 the Alpinst was launched under the Seiko Champion line to be called the Seiko Champion Alpinist. It's popularity did not do so well and it was discontinued in 1965 even thow the Seiko Champion branding remained.

This is a show and tell video about that intriguing Seiko vintage niche.

Hi there,

sorry to let you down: I can easily do without a 4 minutes movie showing the dial view of a watch. I'd prefer a movement photo. But that's just my opinion; others probably enjoy it.
