Seiko King Turtle Too Big For My Wrists?

Hi everyone,

Just bought my first proper watch - the Seiko King Turtle

However, I'm not sure if it's too big for my wrists.

Obviously as a dive watch I would prefer it to have some presence, but I'm not sure if it's crossed the line between presence and ridiculous.

The strap is too tight right now, I will adjust it if I decide to keep it.

Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I took some photos in the mirror as well as a close up, as I've been told close up wrist shots can be deceptive.

Seems perfectly fine to me, plus the super short lugs on this case shape, as it often happens with Seiko, help a lot.

I agree with the others, it looks perfectly fine at proper viewing distance. :)

Cool that you already knew about the problem with close-up wrist shots. It's exactly like you say and I think your first picture illustrates the problem very well.

Having said that, the Seiko turtle case just adds a lot of visible surface. Is that what you wanted? If you chose it just for its short L2L, maybe a different case shape would look smaller despite having slightly longer lugs.

Looks good. If you like the watch, keep it.
