Hi folks,

I bought a Seiko 6139-6002. I would like to take the movement apart and service. I looked at the 6139B technical manual but it was more of a parts list unless j got something wrong. Is anyone able to give me any tips on what to read, tips, and any additional info that would be helpful.

Thanks so much

Watch some video on YouTube, search for Seiko 6139 or 6109. e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvf3w6mlCyE

Actually it would be better to practice first on on some less valuable watch, and make sure to have at least the basic tools needed, and the dexterity needed to not loose or damage parts.
