It seems that I'm the first on this forum who purchased any of SPB307J1/SPB305J1. The reason fro the purchase was first, because of its size, dial and look and only then because of its movement. Although I was searching for the reviews here, haven't found any. The only few opinions found are about 6R21. Is the movement so unpopular? Some debates are around it's precision, poor factory regulation, etc., so I decided to measure its timings and share here to get some opinions if it's factory adjustment is good enough for a regular guy, not collector, who doesn't bother with timegraphers and home watch laboratory. I only have a smartphone and a hammer in a toolbox, sorry
. The result is below.
So there are couple of questions to experts.
1) How do we trust such applications on smartphones to measure timings? Is it enough to check that the watch needs regulation?
2) Can this picture actually tell that the watch has been factory-regulated? From what I see it looks almost perfect, no?
Cheers
