Hi!
Back with another Seiko review. This SRPE43 cocktail time feels special. I was thrilled to hear that Seiko had decided to downsize the cocktail time for the 2020 release. I used to own a Sarb065 (original cocktail time) and even though I loved the looks and the dial is spectacular, it was just too large to be elegant on my wrist. The dial on this SRPE43 is stunning. I think that the decision to put arabic numerals on the dial (first time on a cocktail time) was a genius decision. Having the numeral only on every second hour makes sure the dial stays elegant and isn't overcrowded. It makes the design timeless and elegant in my opinion. Another positive thing that surprised me was that Seiko decided to put quick-release spring bars on the leather strap. That being said, the strap was not really my cup of tea, but nicer than the one on the sarb065. To summarize, I feel that this really is amongst the best watches you can get for around 400 euros.
For those that are interested, I will let the video do the rest of the talking
Hope you all are staying healthy and enjoy this video! If you have any questions, be sure to ask! (in the comment section of the video preferably, but here is fine too.)
Cheers,
Anders
