This is a Japanese market Seiko Sea Urchin - SNZF17J1, that's in really good shape, with all the right upgrades to make it the perfect daily wearer. It came to me with a messed up movement, so I installed a brand new 7s26c, which has been regulated to around 6s/day.
This watch has a double dome sapphire crystal and sub-style bezel installed. They really transform the look of the watch in some subtle but important ways. It looks a lot more polished, and a lot less "cheap seiko 5". I was told both are crystaltimes parts. (and if you're keeping score - the mod parts (when new) would have cost around $65, and a brand new 7s26 is going for $50+ on ebay right now)
Since this is a "J1" model, it comes with a Japan-market box - i've never seen one like this, as well as japanese papers. There are also the "normal" US papers, including a warranty card showing original purchase in October of 2017.
Condition
There's some very light wear/desk diving marks on the case, caseback, and bracelet. There's also some very faint marks on the crystal, but only visible at off angles. Lume on the dial and handset are strong and clear. Bezel insert is in good shape, bezel action is solid. Bezel alignment is good. All mechanical functions are performing as expected.
