I dont like the titanium because it is so light. I LOVE the presence of the watch in my hand. Hence the OWC. Both are great looking and i will probably have both eventually

but for now...which one?

I love the looks of the Shogun more than the OWC, but the OWC is not bad by anymeans, really the only thing that tips the OWC is the weight.

but In terms of movement quality, bracelet, bezel action etc etc

which one? (mind you it will be my daily wearer and i will not get another watch for a while

5517 with subtle date, gorgeous tapered minute hand and A-10 Soprod movement, bolted together deployant with perfectly integrated end links and half links, fully lumed ceramic bezel and compression case.

Best integration of bracelet to lugs I have ever seen.

Check out the shape on the tapered minute hand!

I'm straight up biased to the OWC.
Now for reality to kick in, can't offer any thoughts on the Shogun-but i feel we need more pics of it in here.
Kickin the latest OWC 9411 on my end and its rock solid for the price you pay.
(It may have risen slightly since the beginning of the year)
Solid movement, well balanced case and a fierce AR.
Like others here, its needs a damn tapered bracelet though.

Has anyone put a different bracelet on, or a different clasp? Might prove difficult due to the hex screws....

I'm digging the snowflake a lot on this one!

Shogun = 21,600bph = Lo-Beat.

High-beat - Watch Wiki, The Best Watches And Watch Brands

".....Seiko has used the derivative term "Hi Beat" to refer to 28,800 A/h movements."
Watch Wiki "A high-beat movement is one with a faster-than-ordinary oscillating wheel. Commonly, "high beat" is only used to describe movements oscillating faster than 28,800" That is the line you omitted in your previous post. So again 28,800 is not a hi beat movement. At least not to most watch enthusiasts.

So 28,801 bph is hi-beat......and Shogun is still lo-beat.
