You're looking at a restored Seiko SKX025 midsize diver. This is a "mini" seiko sub. Just like the SKX007 has the SKX013 counterpart, this -025 is the smaller version of the SKX033.
It's a great midsize 37mm case with 20mm lugs, with a 45mm L2L. Compared to the SKX013, it sacrifices some WR, but is a much thinner and more versatile design for everyday use.
Navy dial has a bit of a rolex sub influence, but the handset screams "I'm a seiko!"
There's a brand new 7s26c inside, with a kanji / english day wheel. It's been regulated to ~6s/day, across 4 positions
Condition
Case, caseback, crystal, bezel, dial, and handset are all original to the watch, and show very minor wear - just a few hairlines on the sides of the case and the undersides of the lugs. Caseback has a number of hairline scratches.
Crystal is clear - no significant marks of any kind.
Bezel shows very minor wear around the edge in a few places. This appears to be is a later manufacturing date, so the lume on the dial and handset has not degraded visibly.
The bezel insert and movement are brand new, as is the crown. Both OEM parts sourced from a US-based Seiko parts store. Caseback and bezel gaskets are also brand new.
The ball / spring mechanism for the bezel is gone, so it's a unidirectional friction fit. There's a brand new bezel gasket inside, so it's nice and firm. Upside: No more bezel alignment concerns!
Includes
Watch head on OEM seiko rubber strap. Seiko watch box w/ owner's manual (not original to the watch). If you're not a fan of the seiko rubber strap, I have a variety of other 20mm straps here that I can include with the watch.
