Sekonda says: "SEKONDA has been the best selling watch brand in the UK for the past 20 years." Great, there are not so many watch brands with article in Wikipedia. (You can guess 3 times, is there an article on Glycine watches in Wikipedia.)
This watch I bought from an American seller for USD 20, plus shipping.
There are several versions of this watch. My watch is on the left. Two other pictures are from 24hourwatch.info.

Please tell me, how to make difference of glossy stainless steel and chrome plated cases? When on the case back is written "all stainless steel", then it is clear. But when it's written only "stainless steel back"? Does it automatically say that the main case is not stainless? Anyway, in 24hourwatch.info Sekonda's case is marked as stainless steel, let it be.
Also in 24hourwatch.info is this watch described as Sekonda 2000. Sure that this watch is not from the first phase of Sekonda watches, when they were produced in SU/Russia, originally as poljots and Raketas.
BTW. I asked one of the main Raketa collectors, Alexander, who is former Raketa factory worker and owner of over 2,000 Raketas in his collection - was ever any Raketa 24h model exported as Sekonda watch? Alexander's answer was "no", all the 24h models were always branded only as Raketas.
Nowadays Sekondas are produced in Asia. This Sekonda 24h has well-known, popular but now discontinued Ronda movement 763.24E, made in Asia.
To open snap a case back was another pain as always. The case back has many marks. One of the tools used to open it by previous owners was for sure hammer.
I'm using some tools to manage snap backs. Here you see my cheap Asian snap case back opener, bought for GBP 2.20! And it really works, is adjustable and helps to open snap backs without any marks. I just checked the purchase price again. It is hard to believe that for so little money you can have really good and useful tool.

And to press it back I have this watch glass and back press with 6 plastic discs (GBP 6.60):

The case, crystal, dial, all are well built. The overall feeling is that this watch is durable enough. The dial looks solid enough. For me the legibility is not good enough. The numbers are too small for my tired eyes. The hands are nice. I'm the worst photographer you ever heard, but now I tried to take a picture of Sekonda's lumed hands.

Summary
Average wearable quartz watch. Nothing is wrong here, nothing is exceptional. But for sure there is more watch here than for USD 20.
BTW. Sekonda can be the bestselling UK watch brand, but I've seen only once in last two years that somebody is offering 24h Sekonda.
(On the pictures is Sekonda with the same leather strap it was sold to me. Of course this is no-no to have stainless steel case and golden color buckle. )
