Hey guys,

I have these 6 watches. Basically my question is: Should I sell them to get one nice one?
Pros: Funds, reduction of amount.
Cons: Loosing variety of watches that you liked enough to buy and wear (sometimes).
The watch im eyeing is a Rolex Sub 16610.

what do you guys think?

I have a Rolex 16610 and it sits in the watch box more often than not... my ezm3 on the other hand gets worn more frequently.

Keep the Sinn and Tudor. Sell the rest and save.

I like the variety of your current collection and I think the Rolex would be a nice addition. I think you would definitely miss some of these - personally, I know I would miss the Sinn, the Tudor, and the Guinand.

If the Sub is the watch you truly want; then you bet - sell them. If the Sub doesn't meet your expectations, you can sell it later and buy some other watch(s).

Life is too short to not have the watch that you truly want! Good luck on your decision.

I was going to suggest selling some of them as I was imagining a "nice" watch was something way above what you've got. A Submariner is not it. At all.

The Rolex Submariner 16610 would be under par when compared to the fit and finish of the Tudor and Sinn.

Yes to selling all the others if you don’t fancy them anymore.

But… if you wanted to move to a Rolex as the one watch to rule them all, consider going for a six digit reference Rolex.

For about the same price point, Explorer II or chip in more money for a 114060 or a 116610 (date).

Is the Rolex some sort of limited time special deal?

Same advice I always give. Put those 6 watches in a drawer for a month and pretend they are gone. If you don't miss 'em, sell 'em.

Tudor is a definite keep.

I wouldn’t do that personally - some nice watches there and I have zero interest in Rolex.

What would you see as higher? I like Glashütte Original but that isnt a massiv step up either. And Patek and AP are way out of my league as well.
