"Titanium (super-hard coating) with a titanium bezel," states Seiko's website about the new Shogun. But does it mean that the bezel has a DiaShield coating or merely the watch case?

It’s a coating not hardened metal, very different. Diashield is helpful it hardly as good as Sinn or Damasko at preventing scratches.
