Hey everyone!

I will be purchasing my very first watch and I'm super excited and nervous. It will be a Maurice Lacroix Aikon. I love everything about this watch and need some advice before picking a correct size. I am not sure if I should pick the 39mm or the 42mm. I am 6ft 180lbs, and have around 6.7 inch wrists. I will be daily wearing this watch.
I have no idea what looks too big or too small so I'll appreciate any help!

Got some pictures of me wearing a RANDOM 40mm watch for reference:

42mm for someone of your stature.

Mine is even worst sub 6.5". But I can pull off a 42mm ok and I'm way more petite too... 39-40mm is my sweet spot for a SS sports watch. Similarly the Aikon is a sportier watch and I'd lean 42mm for this style and your stature.

Edit: this pictures are not of the watch concerned? Apols for earlier confusion. No way of telling really without pics of the actual watches. If this is all 40mm, that looks good. Wouldn't go bigger, so go 39.

I was surprised that with your wrist size the 42mm still looks quite OK, but 39mm in my opinion would be the more comfortable and versatile size of the two. I don't think you'll ever find that too small, but occasionally you might find the 42mm too big.
Gotcha! This will be my everyday watch so I feel like it's better for the watch to be balanced in size rather than a little too big...I was initially a bit nervous I'll have doubts about the size as I like to overthink everything.

P.S. The watch in the photos is 40mm

Thanks!
Quick question, are the bracelet lengths all the same regardless of the watches case diameter?

Hmmm perhaps a 39mm might be better suited given the extended lugs profile of the Aikon which is similar to APRO. It will wear larger than the stated case dimensions.

I have similar size wrists as you OP, 39mm most definitely.
I could go to 42mm or so on a watch with a dive bezel but the Aikon has not, and dressier watches like that look more appropriate in smaller sizes anyway.

FYI, Conventional 42mm in the form of a Speedy on a 6.75" wrist that fits nicely IMO. Lugs extend close to the inside edge of the arm's visible diameter. Whereas the Breitling it too large IMO when it begins to exceed that boundry.

I will say to choose the 42mm size. I have a similar constitution and wrist size and 42mm it's very good. I also wear watches larger then 42mm ( Omega Planet ocean 45.5mm and even Graham Overzize ) and the size wasn't a problem.
