It would have been nice if they would have left the Automatic off the dial of the 556. Other than that I like it's clean design.

I really like this regulator. I like the dial and the modern look. It has a nice sportiness to it.

IMHO the watch was balanced enough with the nice big lumed numbers on it.
I prefer the 656 myself. :-!

But then again, the 556 is not the 656's successor, but a less expensive alternative. Can't be the same as the 656, then. ;-)

I haven't found the size of the 556. Anyone know ? I thought maybe it could be something for the wife.

- Diameter: 38,5 mm
- Height: 10,1 mm
- weight (only case): 65 Gramm
- lug space: 20 mm

None of the new models do it for me. I was hoping one would sweep me off my feet, I am itching to buy a watch.

Well I for one really like the look of the 556.

I’m perfectly capable of telling the time on an analogue watch without the need of numerals in order to determine correct dial orientation.…. and as a U2 owner the design is more familiar to me.
