I finally got my UX last night :)
Beautiful watch I think and accurate to < 10 secs. per yr. supposedly.
With the silicone oil filled dial I can now dive to the bottom of the Marianas trench with no ill effects (to the watch :-D )

A couple minor quibbles, the inside/outside ar coating of the crystal and the oil makes the crystal disappear and the dial extremely legible from any angle but somehow makes the white of the markers a shade less white and renders it a bit less luminescent compared to the U1 I had. The bezel has a bit of backplay in it.
I've missed my U1 since I sold it and overall this is a fine replacement :)

Looks great although I am biased. :-! Hey since you also have owned the U1 and the UX what is your opinion of the AR when you compare the two watches? I have found the UX doesn't seem to show smudges as much as my U1. What's your opinion?

May your dives be nothing
short of euphoric, John,
when wearing that trophy
watch. When it needs a
refill, may I suggest am-
bergris (whale oil blubber),
as it is quite denser, &
should provide more pro-
tection than silicone. :thanks

Truly,
Bruce

Nice UX - John :-!

Let me know - When you want to sell your Dasmasko DA-36.

Do you have to send in the UX for a battery change?

Here's my U1 - great watch!

I know what you mean about the coating - when clean - it's like
not there. When smudged - you really see it.

You can have my Damasko when you pry it from my cold dead wrist Alty!
Love your U1 on the metal. :-!
Bruce I'll harpoon a whale or 3 to drain half an ounce of oil when it comes time to change the battery! :-D

Wow, guys....got me drooling! The bracelet really is amazing on the UX and U1. I might have to put that on the list.

Some great shots and what can you say about the whole darned U series from Sinn? Outstanding and extraordinary are a couple of words that come to mind.

Nice choice John!

Do they really put whale blubber in dive watches??????

Just silicone oil as far as I know.
