I met Sir Wallace because I wanted to employ his case to create another 'Elevated Scout' as the case for this one fits the Scout 43 dial. However, after acquiring Sir Wallace... he has really dig deeply into my likings becoming quite a popular fellow in my TX rotation.

I am not going to say, that it is easy to put Sir Wallace on its way to port; but I am very optimistic that 16 to 24 months, Sir Wallace will return safe home.

Sir Wallace will depart VA on its way to his month long visit.

Please visit the TSC thread if you are interested in participating with us on this experience.

Ha, I should've participated! I had one of these Waterburys a few years ago and ended up giving it to my father-in-law. When I see him every other year or so, he's got it on an old black NATO strap. The Indiglo stopped working, though.

Will be fun to see this watch's travels.
We can still slot you in....

Sir Wallace has left on 1st Class Express Priority Service.

I do not mean to impose on others ($$$) but the 2nd day priority costs only $8 dollars that fits the Timex cube very well. If that is not an issue, I highly recommend to use that service which also includes $50 of insurance. 1st class shipping reduces the rate by about 50% without the insurance and sometimes adding another day to the delivery.

Hope to see lots of pictures in the near future!

2nd day priority is my USPS service of choice when shipping small items. Though shipments have certainly slowed down to a crawl given the circumstances. Still, I like having the peace of mind of the $50 insurance.

Your wish is my command....

I love the luster of the case (the positive term I use when the material itself is polished instead of being coated in shiny stuff), and the fact that it's not a brand new shine. I've only ever bought watches new, so this makes we think about participating in the the used market.

A fourth strap was hidden underneath, so lots of combinations to try.
