So I have 2 news I’ll make 2 posts

1. Put it on a leather nato and went fishing.

We did get a nice striped bass of about 15 inches and my daughter released it back carefully; forgot ti take a picture.

My girls playing at the dock.

In the way out we met some turkeys

Put attention to the watch.

Once home I went on sealing my garage door, because I had nasty insects get in recently, found a 1 1/2 inch gap next to the garage door. Since it seemed dangerous for the watch I tick it off and did my thing, latter out it on, not.

I just noticed some how I cracked the glass!! I had not done something like this since I was 13 a watch I borrowed from my dad that interestingly had domed glass coincidence ?

So now I’m on the hook to clean and replace the glass before it departs.

Isn't the original OEM crystal part of the package?

I’m going to look for a new glass.

As a backup plan I spent some time today removing the scratches on original glass.

I was not able ti capture all the scratches here are some

After some time working on it with diamond paste.

Now the scratches are much less visible.

I am not telling you to stop the project.. .but to me... one of the charms of Sir Wallace was specifically those scratches. It made the watch .... authentic?

However, I am looking forward to the upgrade with a Sapphire. That should be a welcome set up. Good luck with the project.

I’ll stop there makes sense. There are still some scratches, let me put back the original glass.
