For sale is a beautiful 44mm Breitling Colt with blue dial in excellent condition. The watch was purchased in July of 2020 and has been worn occasionally as a part of a rotation. . I have been the only owner. The only blemishes worth noting are a couple of superficial scratches on the case back from when it was removed and placed on the display case at the dealer. I have attempted to capture these in the pictures. It was purchased unworn and I have been the sole owner. It is still under warranty. It comes with all external and internal boxes, manual, warranty certificate, tag, and chronometer certificate signed by Schneider. I believe this was the last Colt model produced under the Schneider era. The watch will come on the original Professional III bracelet which was removed once and then replaced. The bracelet is also in excellent condition.
Dial: The dial, unlike the more recent ones under the Kern era, reflects the busier Breitling DNA and is in my opinion the most interesting of the Colts. The indices are applied printed, and there is a boldly applied numeral at 12. The date at 3 replaces the index. The lume is excellent. It has double AR coating and as far as I can tell it is intact. It has a railroad track around the rim, 24-hour markers at each hour, and a 100-scale around the edge of the dial. The blue is matte, set on the "vinyl" style treatment, instead of sunray.
Case: The watch is extremely comfortable to wear owing to its 11.25 thickness. While 44mm in diameter, it is one of the most comfortable watches I have worn, fitting easily onto my 7.5-inch wrist. The case is polished but the bezel is brushed, except for the rider tabs. The bezel is screwed in with eight screws and has a firm click.
Bracelet: The brushed Professional III bracelet has screw-in links and is currently sized for a 7.5-inch wrist. The extra link is included. It has a four-hole micro-adjustment and diver's extension. I see no marks of note and even the clasp is relatively mark-free.
Performance: The watch has been keeping time at a little under +2 SPD on my wrist.
