Up for grabs is a rare vintage UNPOLISHED Gallet MultiChron 12 Military and Road Racing Use Chronograph
Reference 5193 is "waterproof" with screw-on back. Production of these started in 1952 and not known when it was stopped.
This is a more rare, glossy black dial with "straight" numbers on bottom subdial
All original tritium dial as noted with "T SWISS T". Some spotting and aging can be seen in pictures. Hands are original and are in excellent great condition.
This is a 38mm watch excluding crown
Manual wind Valjoux 72 movement is in very good physical condition. Chrono functions as should and resets back to 0. Both pushers are easy to push, they do not get "stuck".
Case is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, or deep scratches. Caseback is excellent.
3 register, 12 hr. recording, telemeter & tachometer scales, black military dial, same version used by Jim Clark F1 racer from 60's
Comes on aftermarket rubber military time strap with compass integrated into it.
