SOLD!!
This is a WatchCo watch, i don't know much about WatchCo besides that i've had
2 of these, they were both beautiful, very beautiful. WatchCo watches were
constructed of NOS genuine Omega parts. So plenty of people will turn up
their noses at them, but, it's a way of having an Omega that is not an hommage,
but constructed from genuine NOS Omega parts, and performs every bit as well
as one made by Omega.
You won't find one in better condition, and it's keeping good time. i took the
pictures in strong West light, it is essentially flawless, i would call it near NOS.
Tiny little hairlines here and there, case lines are sharp as can be, i can essentially
see no flaws besides on the polished bezel of the caseback, where those tiny
hairlines might show.
Here are some specs:
so perfectly on my 7" wrist...38mm case width, 37.1mm bezel width, lug-to-lug 42mm,
thickness 11.2 mm, strap 22mm wide.
I think the crystal is sapphire, but that is just from appearance.
This is not an official Omega shark mesh, those are awfully expensive, i bought this as a
head only, and added this shark mesh and the wonderful expanding diver's clasp that allows
you to shift the size on the fly, even while driving a car, it's easy.
The lume is as fresh and functional as new, if you give it a charge under a reading lamp
at 8pm, it'll be fully legible in the dark 9 or 10 hours later. I'd say the lume is unsurpassed,
Omega, Seiko, and Helson are at the top of my lume list as equals, this is right up there
with the best.
I paid more for it than i'm asking. These don't appear much anymore. I am only selling
it because A. i have too many watches, and B. it is my most valuable watch so it's time
for me to sell it, i can't justify having a watch this valuable in my collection.
I wore it sparingly, once a month, enough to keep it in good running shape, but without
adding wear and tear. It never left the house.
I will ship to Canada and all 50 states, i'll also ship pretty much anywhere else, but i would
ask you to cover any postage over normal u.s. postage. Reasonable offers considered,
please no trades, as i'm still trying to thin down the collection. i will miss this one
SOLD!!
The one trade i'd consider is for an Omega 2252.50, the old school 36mm one...
SOLD!!
Thanks for looking, and thanks to Watchuseek.
