Ps. Here's mine. I've not seen another one with white sub-dial hands, but they seem consistent in age to the other hands so I'll assume they're either original or a service replacement many years ago.
Oh! I like it with the leather band! Those white hands give it a very unique look. Very nice!

Okay, ChillinInTime, do you know how crazy destiny is? Well, the very excellent watch website Worn And Wound coincidentally published TODAY about the very exact Seiko 6138 you picked up for a sawbuck:

By the way, for anyone googling 6138-8039 hunting for more info or parts, the non-US model (identical except for the model number on the case back) was 6138-8030.
