The classic is rated for EVA but the X-33 is not. Not that they are going EVA. Once fully dressed they can't see the watch on the wrist. I know for this most recent (accelerated) flight to the ISS, they had to stay in their pressure suits for the whole 20 hours rather than being able to take them off for what is the normal lengthy 2-3 day orbital rendezvous. This maybe saves having to change straps too. Most don't wear the classic while on the ISS - G-shock/X-33/etc - nice to have an alarm/timer/etc.
