G-Shock is the first one that comes to my mind, but might also look at Seiko as well as Oris.

I've seen the Oris ones out there but they are a little plain imo. I feel like they lack a little character. I'll look into the Seiko ones thnx.

I saw it but between you and me, it is high$ based on previous sales and also, it is from 2011, that to me might mean a service in the very near future.

A great choice, I definitely knew Cartier but unfortunately out of my price range.

Not bad but I'm not into black PVD, wish it was regular steel.

 

I know Tag has some models, probably outside of my price range. Baume may have some, there's the Nomos Tetra. There are some here and there but definitely not the zillion round ones to choose from.

 

Going to bump this to see if there are more recommendations out there. From what I'm seeing, there might be more offerings from micro brands than established ones relatively speaking. I guess there's not a big market for square/rectangle/tonneau/cushion type of designs.

Bit of an older thread but if anyone is looking a c11 from Christopher Ward would be a good bet for this. They don't make anymore, but do pop up every now and again online.
