I was rearranging the watches and thought I could use some perspective from y'all about next moves. I have sold off a few watches and have a couple more to go, so there is room for one to come in, maybe two. And a JLC Atmos clock will eventually be in the house.

The Seiko trio: Grand Seiko SBGT035, Seiko SRP387J, Credor Node GCAT996

The handwounds: Eterna Madison Spherodrive, Vulcain Classic 1951, Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon-to-Mars (to be sold very soon)

Tools: Glycine Airman SST-12, Muhle Glashutte Seebataillon, Sinn 556 LE

Oddballs: Casio G-Shock Rangeman 9400, Bulova Accutron Astronaut, Steinhart Nav-B Uhr 44 bronze

And the current cocks of the walk: Zenith El Primero Chronomaster and Piaget Upstream

The Piaget Upstream is new since last night (19 Oct). So the rest of the post and ensuing discussion is partially moot. A more detailed post with more pictures will happen later about the Piaget. The Omega Moon-to-Mars is now with its new owner.

the wife and I have agreed to a 6-month ban on new acquisitions for me. She gets a JLC baguette clock in the mean time.

------------------------------
There are some gaps that I want to fill eventually: moonphase, regulateur, fancy ass gold Moser/Parmigiani/Breguet...

But one of my previous wants (like really want and it looks so good on my wrist) has become available locally for a reasonable price. Although I have the rectilinear and the anthracite dial covered in two of my pieces above, this one is just not often seen and the bezel deployant is friggin' sweet, the Piaget Upstream:

And I have developed a lust for the Rolex Milgauss, white dial:

Not necessarily looking for other suggestions, but feel free to comment, critique, complement, or other.

Congrats on a great collection. That Seiko trio is my favorite part. I'm not personally a fan of that piaget, but that's just personal taste; I'm sure it's a fine watch. I like the milgauss as an addition since you don't have any pure white dials.

Nice collection for sure. The Seiko in the center has a great look and I like the Vulcain as well.

Also, I have recently started admiring some non-circular watches. The Reverso is my favorite (like a fidget toy for adults), but I am a long way from seriously considering a purchase.

Nice Medium, love the 2 Seiko's, the Eterna and the Sinn especially . . . hope the Milgauss comes in soon.

Looks nice. I always hear Piaget is VERY under rated watchmaker that we do not hear much about.

I would have gotten the Milgauss with green/blue crystal for something interesting.

I LOVE that Credor!!

I can’t look at that Rangeman without shuddering a little. IMO it’s a nice watch ruined by a vile display. (I’ll have to see someday if mine can be modded to a +ve display) You have a lovely collection and if it was mine I’d want to add some more divers to it but the most vital thing about any collection is that the owner is happy with it.

Fancy your Credor and Cricket a great deal.

Follow your gut and be sure to check out that MG white and black dial in person before pulling down the white; You may just have a change of heart.

Thanks for sharing and wish more members would do so on the boards, especially those with such range and thought to their stash.

Looking forward to what's next!

Thanks for the thoughts, y'all.

The Piaget Upstream is really very nice and I have passed on buying it twice before. The one available to me has full set box+papers and was sold new in 2015, so something of a rarity. I really should not pass on it again at ~$4000.

The Milgauss sits well on my wrist and feels so good (cue Chuck Mangione). I like the blue+green crystal in theory, but not on my wirst. The black+green crystal is good, but I am really a fan of orange bits and do not have a pure white dial watch and the white dial Milgauss works for me (and is usually 20% cheaper than the GV iterations while performing the same). I like that it is something of a sleeper Rolex, but still very unique. I was toying with the idea of the Polar Explorer 42mm, but not in love with the bezel. So there is another $4-5000...

The Omega Speedmaster Professional was bought without enough contemplation. The Moon-to-Mars dial is cool and the watch looks and performs flawlessly, but I just do not like winding it (but I do like handwounds) and I do not wear it for fear of damaging it and reducing its value. If I want a hand wound chronograph, I'll pick up a Sinn Navitimer 903 at some later point.

The reverse display of the G-Shock Rangeman is infuriating. But the watch is useful and I got it for a steal on Jomashop.

Thanks for all the compliments on the Credor. I think it is beautiful, although the crown is too small and less tasteful than it should be (but what is a Seiko without some minor flaw in the design?). I was on the fence and bought it as an opportunity rather than a real target, but I enjoy the irony of having a HAQ without a seconds hand. The pearly dial with the subtle step down is so sweet. I am thinking it needs some sort of interesting exotic strap at some point in the future.

The Vulcain is a great watch - bought one for the wife with Mother of Pearl dial and diamond bezel, too. Certainly a quirky piece, but it serves as a nice travel watch with a few extra straps in the watch roll.

There are mods out there for the G-Shock, but seems like too much trouble. Just get one of the alternate versions of the 9400.

When it comes to divers, I like the front view of the Rolex Hulk, but not the side view (or the price). So many divers out there, I am amazed I only have one at present. Had a Seiko Turtle and a Mido Ocean Star. Will surely bring another into my collection at some point, but nothing is drawing my interest at the moment.

The RV avatar is me posing in front of my very own Southwind RV in my underwear with my firearm in the New Mexico outback a 'la Walter White circa 2014. Before selling everything except the underwear on my way out of the USA.

Thanks for sharing! Stunning collection! I really like the Seiko SRP, the Vulcain (Why aren't these more popular again?), and absolutely love that Bulova Astronaut!

The Bulova is really neat, although the mod done to use modern batteries means that it chews through them in about a year.

The SRP I just bought this week; really is stunning, albeit the very cheapest piece in my collection (excepting the G-Shock).

Mad props for the SRP, Vulcain, Sinn, Bulova, Zenith and upcoming Piaget. You, sir, are a connoisseur. I look forward to a review or wrist shots of the Piaget - it is a rare fish in these waters.
