I'm sending the vulcain to my watchmaker tomorrow and am considering asking him to replace the base metal Vulcain case with steel case on the right. The base metal case is in pretty good condition. One small chip. The pushers are nice on top but corroded on the bottom. What do you think? Keep it all original or switch to steel. Do you think that will decrease the value?

Keep it original, of course. Would swapping the case decrease the value? As frankenising a watch usually does, yes, it would. If there's a problem with the pushers, replace the pushers, if necessary.
