Hi Everyone. STILL FOR SALE. Learned my lesson dealing with eBay. Now $675 all-in. Reduced for quick sale to fund an incoming purchase.

First time seller, long-time lurker and occassional buyer.

Technomarine MoonSun Black & Rose Gold Ceramic Quartz Chronograph, Model 208016. Tons of pics here, above what's included below.

This was my first "fashion" purchase. Gold watches of any degree look terrible on me (scottish/irish/northern german mutt) but in order to widen the range of styles on my wrist I went searching for something in the rose and copper range. Most things were either too cheap (looking and/or feeling) or too expensive for my current usage of this type of watch. This was just right. And the black cermaic really did make it stand out. Tried it on at a dealer in Boston (Tourneau) and bought it on Ashford.

And it really is a great watch. Some people on the board really hate on TM, and I can admit that in general they are overpriced for what they are, but a good chunk of their styles really do stand out and make a good addition to your stable so long as you can snag them at cheap price. And they do go on good sales. Their Cruise Steel, for that matter, makes a great do-everything chrono-diver with a few straps. But not for the $600+ asking price plus extra bands and straps.

I got a good price on Ashford, given that I had some rebates from a broken watch they sent me an an outstanding gift-certificate I got and was darn close to expiring. I mention all of this because I know this still sells for $1095 on Ashford and other online retailers, and I haven't seen it go for much less even with super promos. I'm not asking anywhere near that, but not because there's anything wrong with the watch nor because I'm galantly adjusting Technomarine's prices to their worth. I got a good deal and I should pass that on to the good people here.

The details: It's almost brand-spanking new. But it has been sized. And the cermaic band was a pain to get sized, and eventually had to go back to Tourneau to get it done. And even there, their "master" jeweler broke a pin doing it. (Two links and one broken pin, one good pin included See pic). Other than that, it's flawless and has great presence. It's the only rose-gold/bronze appearance execution I've seen (warning, small sample size there) that works, save for Helson's Bronze Diver... But it just seems that no matter how many times I go to put it on, I end up swapping it out for another before I walk out the door. It's always a "Naw, not with this outfit" or "Not today" moment. So I guess I just haven't bonded with it. So it's only left the house 3, maybe 4 times. I'll go with 98% rating on it, keeping it pessimistic for the keen eyes of the Membership here, 96% if you want to count the jeweler's sizing goof. Since the pins are rose gold too, they might be hard to replace if you're looking to put both links back in...

Specs:
Condition: mint but sized, with one broken pin (jewelers fault, no damage to links or bracelet)
Movement: Swiss Quartz( assuming G10.711 Quartz off of new spec sheet for this year's very recently updated models, as it doesn't specify on materials for last year's)
Crystal: sapphire crystal, with anti-reflection treatment
Case: black ceramic and rose gold
Dimensions: 43mm without crown 13mm height
Caseback: screw-down, closed with engraving
Crown: screw-down, closed with engraving.
Dial: black dial
Strap/bracelet:black ceramic with rose-gold plated SS with double-folding deployment clasp with push button (hidden),
Bezel: unidirectional rotating, engraved, Arabic, rose-gold plated.
WR: 200 meters
Chrono: Sweep-second hand resets to 10 o'clock, to leave "racing inspired (see Oris)" large 12 numeral exposed.

Warranty via Ashford (in the US). 2 years (from Dec. 2011) covers "the watch movement and battery replacement. This warranty covers defects in material and/or workmanship only. The Ashford warranty does not cover the watch case, bracelet, straps, crown/stem, crystal/glass, or finishes and polishing." Will include original receipt so you can get any RMA.

Willing to part with it, as I don't like owning anything I'm not using to the level it should be used, so I'm willing to accept offers but not in any rush to get it out the door. Since it's TM though and they do a lot of special, if you point me to why my pricing's off, you can always convince me!

$675 OBO. inc. Paypal and shipping. With entire display box, as in pics. Email with any Questions! And eBay buyer/seller rating under EconMonk, in case you need references. Watch Metal

Re: FS Technomarine Black Ceramic MoonSun Chornograph Rose Gold Bezel, Crown. Minty

Note: went up on ebay today. Considering any offers here as a "Buy It Now" option for WUS members! Decided today it really is time to move this on to someone who'll use it more. And, of course, use the funds to replace it with something that I will use more!

Note 2: Sized for my 7.65 in / 19.5 cm wrist. Again, there are two links that come with it. 1 good pin and one broken pin. So you can go up one link without having to find another pin. Which may or may not be easy. I'm not sure. If you do size it again (or anyone who goes to size their own ceramic purchase) be careful! Even the Technomarine authorized dealer had trouble sizing it, after many an upstanding jeweler declined to attempt it. And in sizing it he busted that single pin.

Looks like Ashford's got it on sale for $500, with a snipe coupon. My loss, your gain. Will accept offers in that area. Otherwise will just hold onto it.

Just for you? $450. Think that's as low as I'm going without some convincing. Might see some wrist time yet...
