Dan,

Thought you were getting the II series that had a dive bezel, that looks like a series I? Or are you getting both?b-)

Suffices to say, that dial is gorgeous, need a nice natural light macro shot of that baby.

Congrats Man.

Cheers,

Sean

I am getting the series II :-!, but while waiting, one of the series I came up for sale. How could I ever say no as I seriously doubt many of these will come up for offer.

Interestingly I think this is number 1

I'm sure to take more photos as time goes by.

For those who don't recognize this beauty, it's a VDB I.

One of eight handmade my Stephan Obst, the VDB II will be a series of 15 with two SE's. I'm in for the SE with a vintage Rolex movement

I promise I'll take more pictures soon - in the process of moving house right now so may take a little while. Perhaps the VDB II will be ready by the time I'm re-settled.

teaser - below - cheers Stephan

the VDB II is amazing - even has a water intrusion indicator, saying that the I hasn't been off my wrist yet :)

Liz: to clarify, I've got a couple of Stephan's homages (6152 abd 3646)with original rolex/cortebert movements but not a VDB I or VDB II, only Dan is that fortunate :-!
