Got a custom stingray leather strap from Stone Creek for my Blancpain. Normally leather is frowned upon for a dive watch, but I think this one fits the theme just fine. Obviously I will change the strap to go in the water.

I really would recommend Jeanna's work for your custom strap needs. I am very happy with her results

Too bad they did not do a rubber backing to the strap.

I had thought that would make it waterproof too.

However, the Stingray itself isn't waterproof despite being fish scales. From my understanding, it is tanned similarly like leather to keep it soft and 'bendy'. Soaking it would, like with leather, shrink it and make it brittle as it dries.

I am also considering a sharkskin strap.
