I love this plane - I was at Harbour Front and about to leave when I saw this bird coming down to land on the Toronto Island Airport...

I was using a 55-200mm Nikon F4-5.6 G lens for these shots - shot them in RAW files and... what a lot of work to convert the RAW files to JPEG!

But hey, not bad for handheld at 200mm - gotta say that lens sucks for Street photography because it lack the wide angle, I am used to taken picture of people when they are real close to me, however it is excellent for these kind of shots. I am very happy with it for pictures like these.

Now if only I could learn how to properly use Nikon Capture - I'd be set ;-)

I tweaked them a little and cropped but none of these have been resized

This one below is just for the hell of it - he'll soon go through a "bird blender" hanging around the airport like that...

Bird blender approaching... I am sure it happens and that it is not a good thing to the bird and the plane when it does happen!!!
