I finally got this vintage Omegas Cosmic restored, and initially thought it would look great on a brown strap.

This is a Hisrch leather strap on it. Looks ok, but almost looks too plain, if that make sense.

What do you guys suggest on this kind/color of dial and watch? I was thinking a black strap would work, but I'm using the watch in casual settings, so maybe a lighter (honey brown or tan) leather strap might work too?

The Seiko SARB035 has a very similar dial color. If you Google search "seiko sarb035 strap monster" or something similar, you'll get several videos that will show that reference on multiple different strap options. Some of those would give you a great idea for how you're omega might look with similar straps. I'm sure you'll find that it's easier to find something that'll look fantastic than you think. Good luck. Great watch.

Honey brown suede perhaps?

You can also look at the sticky at the top of this page with the list of on line strap vendors you can review for ideas as well.

Good luck. Very sharp looking watch, IMHO. Hope you enjoy it.
