With all the handmade straps showing up, I thought I would show something different. The entire strap was laid out and cut using a laser. Once cutout it was assembled into what you see. It is hand stitched the old fashioned way. This was made for the owner of a Trek store close to me. Strap is 24mm wide and is 110/155 with a 26mm buckle. Yes the strap is meant to wrap around your wrist with the buckle resting on the side instead of under your wrist.

Just to show what other types of images I can put on a strap. All of these images are about a half a inch in size. I hope this helps you see what kind of detail can be done.

My question is...where did you get the piece of hardware to laser cut the strap? sounds like an easy way to cut straps! lol..

I wish it was easy. That strap took several passes to cut it out. Then you have to deal with the charred edges. Needless to say I wont be doing many laser cut straps. The engraving is the easy part with it. I can do any strap with it, so you can have your favorite strap turned into a one of a kind

I am lucky to have access to it from a local gunmaker that I help out. He uses it to mark all of his parts on the guns he builds. The system was about $25K. Way more then I can afford just to play with doing straps.
