I have that watch in yellow! I've had mine since sometime in the late 70's probably and have always liked the looks of it. It's unique with the black dot. The dot almost looks like it's velvet - mat finish.

Received the black dot 1968 Caravelle. Cleaned, polished the crystal, added a black, shiny faux lizard strap I had on an old Seiko quartz. I think it looks MIGHTY snazzy. This is an automatic, 21600bph movement. Clock Tuner has it at about +10 seconds. Opinions welcome.

Dang that *does* look snazzy. Dagnabit. :) Yet another watch I am going to have to watch for. Curse you :)

Anwyay, Very nice!

I guess those Caravelles we're quite a bargain back then.

Hahaha, thanks. I saw it on the auction site and it spoke to me immediately.

There's another one there, but needs work, missing crown, etc. But it's an auto too.

Check what I just posted in the "Latest Bulova" thread :)
