Inspired by an Alpina automatic model from the 1950's, the contemporary Alpiner line adds the Alpiner Quartz to the collection. The Alpina Alpiner Quartz features the clean lines, essential dial design, and the intrinsic quality, reliability and finish of Swiss sports watch.

After the success of its first sports watch called the "Block Uhr" in 1933, featuring a rigid and reliable steel case and a patented new type of crown, Alpina launched the concept of 4 giving birth to the first Swiss sports watch in 1938, a combination of four key characteristics that Alpina deems essential to create a sports watch: anti-magnetic, anti-shock, water-resistant and stainless.

These features are vital to the outdoorsmen and women to ensure high performance and reliability, tackling the entire alpine sports' universe, from the Alps to the ocean.

The Alpiner Quartz fills the need for a classical sporty entry-level timepiece within the Alpiner collection. The watch is powered by AL-240 quartz movement and functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date window at 6 o'clock. It has a 42mm diameter case with a scratch-resistant convex sapphire crystal, and is water resistance up to 100m/330ft.

The Alpiner has the iconic "glacier blue" dial with a sunray finish and hand applied silver Luminova indexes. It comes with a nice brown leather strap.
