Maybe someone else has noticed this but I haven't seen it clarified...

The size of the text on the dial of Dr. Pete's prototype is different (larger and justified left/right) than some of the other pictures posted. Can we assume that the size of the lettering in the pictures posted by Doxa (like the Doxa 5000T Post) are the size that we will see when our 5000T arrives?

Please clarify, which is it?

Remember, Pete's is a Prototype. This is the Pic that you should go by.........

That's what I figured...but thought it best to clarify for everyone. Plus, I think the final version of the dial looks far better and some forum members may not realize that there is a difference in the text size/formatting.

Thank you for clarifying this detail. Honestly, I hadn't noticed what you are describing, but then I haven't looked real close at the differences between the watches. It has been a little system overload here this afternoon.:oops:o|o|o|

Guess it's too late to change now but I for one would have liked to have seen Seaconqueror a good bit bigger :)

Good colour, nice font - just larger size, more impact.

The problem is the length of the word Seaconquerer. The idea was to center it and make it about the same length as the SUB 5000T and Professional. Obviously making it with a larger font spreads it on the dial. It could be written with a narrower non italic font I suppose, but at the end of the day I think Doxa wanted to emphasize the 5000T rather than Seaconquerer.

Right. But the "DOXA" and the word "Professional" are also scaled differently on the final version. It looks much better - you might need to get your hands on a production version to go with the prototype!
