Not only am I not a surfer, but, at a local beach this weekend, I almost got killed by a surfer who decided to ride his board in an area where numerous people were swimming!

Nevertheless, I remain a fan last year's Surfrider Foundation 5500 and this year's 5600. I wore the blue G-5500SRF to the beach this weekend -- here are few shots of this watch in its native habitat. I took these with a Blackberry camera which is why you only see the post-swimming drops and not shots of the watch in the ocean:

Warning -- geezer alert!

Kronos,

Surfs up. You are a great photographer. I am sure you remained in that chair for some time - taking in all the beauty around you!! :-!

I honestly didn't intend to make the girls a focus of the shots -- except for the last shot, perhaps -- though I was not unmindful that they were there. I wanted to get some sky and some water in some of the shots (otherwise, one is just looking down at sand) and the girls were in the same direction.

The reality was (a) that I was too lazy to get out of my chair (which was under a nice beach umbrella) and (b) that was the general direction my chair and I were facing. I really wanted to take some shots of the G-5500SRF in the waves, but a Blackberry was not the device to do that with. I was paranoid enough about getting sand in the thing.

Hi Kronos,

Great photo's of the Surfrider in it's natural habitat.

Girl one to girl two~ "Don't look know but some man in a cap is taking photos of us over his watch!"

Girl two: "Did you notice you are wearing the wrong bikini top?"

Girl one looking at her iPhone: "I just saw it on WatchUSeek".

Cheers,

Sjors
