A few months ago I came across the Field and Stream Tritium Chronograph on the Sportsmans Guide website. They put it on sale for about $160.00 + S/H but I didn't bite at the time as I couldn't find a lot of details on the watch. After a week the price jumped back up to about ~$180.00 and now it's at ~$229.

Last weekend I did some searching and found that Baring Outfitters [Owned by the same parent company as Sportsman's Guide] was selling them for ~159.00. I signed up for their email to keep track of it for a day or two and restarted research.

I located this:

  • [*]Stainless steel case, case back and screw down crown
[*]100 Meter (330 feet) Water Resistant
    [*]Multi Jeweled Swiss Quartz Movement
    [*]Big DUAL WINDOW Date
    [*]Chronograph (Stopwatch) Feature
    • 1/10th second Accuracy
    • Chronograph features 30 minute subdial for easy elapse time reference
    • Continuous Second Hand Subdial (independent of chronograph)
[*]LUMI-TECH Genuine H3 Tritium Self Powered Illumination by mb-microtec
    • Tritium Gas glows 100 times brighter than conventional luminous watches
    • Illumination system will glow continuously for 25 years
    • Hour Hand, Minute Hand and Second Hand are Tritium Illuminated
    • All Hour Markers are Tritium Illuminated
[*]Hardened Mineral Glass Crystal, Resists Scratching
[*]Stainless Steel Bracelet with Double Locking Clasp (Bracelet Model)
[*]Padded and Stitched Leather Strap (Strap models)
  • Diameter: 44 millimeters (47 millimeters with crown)
  • Depth (thickness): 12.25 millimeters

Today I got an email from them and they dropped the price to $129.00

They were kind enough to send me a one time use $10.00 off any order coupon when I signed up for their emails the other day and they gave a $6.00 discount on shipping since it's a small/light item.

SO...order placed!

Stainless Chrono Swis Quartz MB-Microtech Tritium for $123.00 Shipped.

Not to shabby.

I'll get some pics up when it arrives.

EDIT: Apparently they have two different links, one for the $149.00 price and one for the $129.00 price. I put the right link in there now. Sorry for any confusion.

Looks like a great watch at a great price. I recently bought and did a short review of a Mossy Oak tritium H3. I love the lum. Some good deals can be found on tritium if your patient.
Be sure to post pics once it arrives.
