Hi

Can anyone let me know what the serial numbers on the back of Tag Heuer watches denote? Specifically with regards to the watch I've added images of, is this a Tag Heuer 3000?

Regards

Richard

It does indeed appear to be a 3000.
From the monochrome logo, this would date it to the late 80’s.
937.413 is the model number and indicates that this is one size below the full-size model. I think they called this “Medium”, and they also offered “Boy” and “Ladies” sizes, much like they did with most of the rest of the range.
These used a pretty common quartz movement the same as that used in other models in their range. I think a 555.112.
Strange that it doesn’t say 3000 on the dial, as I thought they all had this except the very last of the series, which also had the multicolour logo.

Hope that helps...
