Just noticed that I have been spending time on here for ten years.
I collect vintage watches. Unfortunately prices have followed the upward trend of new watches.

Yellow gold is as unpopular now as it was 10 years ago. I had the case restored , that is easier with gold, the movement just needed a service.

In drydock at the moment , I miss it.

Took a number of years to find this classic.

Ten years, all the new watches, technology, and many, many dollars help make this hobby an adventure for sure.

I've been a WIS for about as long. I first found WUS when I was trying to figure out why my new Aquaracer was spinning the rotor during winding.

I lurked for most of the intervening time but in retrospect, I wish I had dove in right away. I would have learned quicker.

Ten years ago I had more Longines Watches than anyother but despite this being a watch forum lots of people are fixated on denim.
The use of Longines as a user name was blocked.
