This was the first one that cost a few dollars more...

It has an unnamed 17zuan 'standard' movement.

The new one that came today is identical except there is a sun at 12 o'clock instead of the star.
The movement in the new one is a Shanghai SS7 with date stamp 'DB'.

I think I may grab a few more :-!

Is the arm attached to the pallet fork, is that how its done? I'm sure this has been asked a million times....and I've seen the watch a million times I just never got confirmation

Yes, you are correct; the palette fork has an extra lon pinion that protrudes up though the dial. There is a seconds type hand attached to the pinion and the waving arm is just a vinyl sticky stuck onto the hand.
