Welcome to BSHT Part 23. We're glad you made the jump with us to the new quadrant. Now count those around you, and if someone appears to be missing, please send me a PM, and I can send a ship back to scout for the stragglers. With any luck we'll be able to locate them up before the toasters show up and turn their spaceships into spacedust.

And just remember to keep your eyes open for D-Lo. If and when he shows up, just keep in mind that he may not actually be who he appears. Remember, some of them look just like us now.

And now for the fine print. Our in-house legal counsel, Saturnine, has provided me with the following official "BSHT Disclaimer of Liability." By reading and/or posting in this thread, you are implicitly agreeing to the following terms:

"I, the reader, fully understand and acknowledge that there are risks and dangers associated with participation in the BSHT watch exhibitionism and tomfoolery which could result in nausea, profuse sweating, severe dizziness, wrist rashes, wrist hair removal, wrist voyeurism, falling over backwards, intoxicated ebay purchases, changes in sexual ability, difficulty urinating, widened pupils, vision changes (such as seeing rainbows or auras around watches), fits of uncontrollable laughter while at work, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, constipation, extreme mood swings, dry mouth, bankruptcy, dismemberment, paralysis and death. There may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time. The social and economic losses and/or damages to me, my family and others, which could result from these risks and dangers described above, could be severe.

By reading the posts of the Brotherhood, I fully assume the dangers and risks, and agree to use my best judgment while engaging in forum activities. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasee, including, but not limited to, post author, the author's family and estate, the Brotherhood of Submariner Homages (BSH), its members individually and its officers, agents and volunteers and employees (hereafter, collectively referred to as the "Brominati").

I hereby certify that I am of legal age and competent to execute this Waiver and Assumption of Risk, that in doing so of my own free will and accord, voluntarily and without duress imposed by Lifetrekker, and that I do so intending to bind myself, my executor, my heirs, and Justadad to the fullest extent."

Let the tomfoolery begin.

Long Live the BSHT!

So say we all!

Just landed in Charlotte for a quick work trip. The guy beside me is wearing a watch but the tag end of the strap is not in the keeper. It's just poking out into the air, and he just don't care. I want to tell him to fix it, but that might be overstepping my bounds.

I get it. I saw a guy with a Rolex Submariner on a business trip a while back with the bezel out of alignment. I wanted to reach over and fix it for him. I'll tell ya', being a little OCD is a pain in the arse at times.

Hold on, yo! What model is that? I've never seen it before. Is this one of Gunter's special one-offs? Here's my offering for today.
[EDIT:: Duh, went to the website and scoped it out. Great watch, by the way]

I tried posting a pic but keep getting errors.
T
That FFF was one of the first mods I ever did.
Changed out the movement to a winding hacking 4r36.
Has FFF case back
Blue AR sapphire
Yobokies hands and bezel insert
Dagaz dial.

I have only done 2 of these as it really does not pencil out money wise.
The base watch goes for $130-150
New movement $50-60
Case back $50
Sapphire $40
Yobokies hands $30 ish
Yobokies bezel insert $55
Dagaz dial $35 ish.
New strap $20-sky is the limit.
Even if you don't change out the movement, bezel insert, and caseback it's a spendy proposition.
