The cheapest MT-G?

We all get that "itch" that we need to "scratch"...

I had no idea what I wanted but then, I said I wanted a solar... which, within seconds developed into "Radio Controlled".... something! Whatever it would be....

Use to have a number of Casios before but now, after selling my last Pro-Trek, I am left with only one Casio...
the GW-3000M-4AER. So, I did a search on the "cheapest" Multiband / Solar watches that would also be a G-Shock, and this MT-G came up (as well as many others which were not G-Shocks) so after $126CAD and 24 hours later, was on my wrist, taking it for a "spin"... what's the worse that can happen? send it back before the 30 days are up?

Interestingly enough, I ike it! It measures 46mm but it wears like a 42mm. It has all the relevant functions: dual time, alarm, chrono, timer, solar and multi band 6. Was surprised to find out that this is actually an old model... 10 years?? Nevertheless, the first night picked up the signal without issues. That it ... I'll keep it.

Those of you who have / had this model, any problems down the road?

No problems but it won't look nice with time. Paint will wear off and reveal plastic.
It is very old and cheap model in my opinion not worthy of current MT-G moniker standards.
Very much GW500/530 with bracelet.
Nice basic Casio just without timer in original release.
Yours is MB6 so may be they changed it.
Yes, this one has the countdown timer. It’s interesting to see the more modern MT-Gs how and what they evolved into. Nicer, bigger, bolder and… they are all analog.
