The search for a narrower Citizen CB5921 bracelet (Strapcode Entwine, Seiko Astron)

I am on a mission. I'm trying to come up with a more tapered bracelet for my Citizen Promaster Land CB5921. The bracelet currently starts at 22mm and tapers to 20mm. I'm aiming for 18mm or less.

I've been looking for similar 3 link or H link bracelets with an 11mm center link to match the endlinks and I came across this from Strapcode:

20mm or 22mm Entwine (Pull-Twist) QR Watch Band Straight End Quick Release, 316L Stainless Steel Brushed and Polished V-Clasp

I noticed the center link was similar so I took a chance. Using the Citizen endlinks and the rest of the Strapcode bracelet I've come pretty close.
22mm down to 18 at the clasp.

That's not the only astonishing thing.... have you seen how these bracelets are sized? The side link is spring loaded and pulls out. The links can be individually removed. No tools. I'm a little leery of spring loaded clasps that don't have a safety lock, but for someone who is constantly resizing and adjust bracelets and straps I'm pleasantly surprised.

Of course, it's a well made bracelet so time will tell of this spring link design is safe. I also have a few more ideas on a better fitting bracelet.

JLC used to make a bracelet with a similar pin design.

Cartier, IWC and some other brands use spring-loaded links but the buttons are on the underside of the link

Thank you for this timely post! I just recently got this Zodiac Grandrally chrono that has the same bracelet sizing system - although I didn't know that until I read your post. I had never seen these before. You saved me a few minutes of searching for other how-to videos.

I may have done it. Turns out the Seiko Astrons have a similar bracelet. I used the Citizen endlinks and the Seiko band and a new clasp and tada!
