Maybe you could clarify this question Ronald. If I understand what you're asking, though, I would think it would make no difference. The crystal itself is very isochronous, and the temp. correction would be purely digital.

As long as the eco-charged battery isn't allowed to run all the way down, I think the voltage would be so close to constant that charging and discharging would make no diiference to the quartz frequency

My concern is the small effects that the non constant voltage would have on the circuits providing the digital feedback and the oscillator frequency.
