Try this on your hypothetical wrist: a Dent, a Breguet, a Chopard, etc. with Bond trappings all over it. Hard to imagine? And why would that be?

One needn't be a purist to want a competent luxury watch that doesn't look like a teenager's postered walls.

Omega has been a regarded company since 1848, multiple-winner of observatory chronometer awards, Olympic sponsorship, along with legendary robustness and iconic designs--elegant, fashionable, and, of course, sporty. I say association with Bond's OK, but fictional superheroes are for the lunchbox set. That, and Audemars Piguet designers.;-)

I think that's the reason they've not done the same with the Speedmaster.

Actually the Speedmaster is already logo'd out with the various mission casebacks. The difference is the Speedy is all about real men, badass Astronauts in fact ... not some nancyboy Hollywood actor. - David
