I swung by my local thrift store spied this beautiful minty 1976 Phasar 2000 from Sears watch for $2. I popped in a new battery and cleaned it up a bit and it looks brand-new. I am always amazed at how high-quality these watches were. I also got a 1985 ladies Swatch Black Beauty watch for $0.60. It also took a new battery and it's running great. I'll be listing that one eBay for a quick profit but am keeping the Phasar. It is going to join his 1976 brother.
