Timex Ironman Rugged 30 T5K7939J, I got this for my self with the hopes of getting my younger son to wear his Baby G that has been collecting dust. Well... it kinda of backfired... he is still not wearing his Baby G....
he is now wearing the Ironman and he prefers it to the G. So it formally now belongs to him. I love the negative display which to me it is not hard to see; and I like the reverse Indiglo feature.

So now the replacement is the same Rugged 30 but with a different color scheme that was just put up at the TX ebay store ($22.99) also with a negative display. =)

I was also looking to buy a Purple Baby G for my wife; look and look and look for hours. The very few that I found she did not like. When I showed her the TW5K89700 she liked the color. And we she got her, she loves the feel and big Digits easy to see.

Picked this one up the other day. Love it so far. Hugs the wrist like a glove and has that absolutely wonderful notch in the band for the strap keeper. Why don't more companies copy that?

Timing for this thread is perfect. I have 3 Casio's on order and about to go look at a Timex Ironman. I'll prob. only keep one once I have them all, but who knows, this is WUS :)

Wow, that is interesting. Thanks for the info.

I found out asking in another thread that it is actually a Casio CBX 1000 model and the reason I couldn't find anything under Timex for it.

I bought it new back in the day, wore it every day for some years then retired it. Just recently dug it out and put a battery in it.

Very happy with my T5K412 that I picked up over the weekend. The keeper is very nice. There is a extra 'notch' at the very tail end of the strap. The keeper then has a little 'tab' on the inside of it and that locks the keeper in place.
